Phil Hershey

KTB Founder, Phil has provided emergency life-saving care, including his involvement in more than 5,000 cardiac arrests throughout his 36-year career with the Los Angeles City Fire Department. He currently is still serving as a Captain II/Paramedic when not teaching.

Phil has specialty training in confined space rescue, Aircraft FF, and Urban Search and Rescue. He worked at Fire Station 9 for six years in Los Angeles, which is rated at the Top 5 Busiest Fire Stations in the U.S. and has been # 1 for the past 10 years.
